Student leader at the Amsterdam International Community School, driving sustainability, representation, and community through hands-on initiatives and events.
I am a MYP4 student at AICS who believes that meaningful change starts at school. My focus is on building structures and events that outlast any single person: programmes that students feel ownership over and can carry forward.
On the Student Council, I represent MYP4's South-East cohort, translating student concerns into concrete conversations with school leadership. I am part of the community team, where we plan events and fundraisers for the wider school. I also serve as the class representative for MYP4H, acting as the first point of contact when something needs to change day to day.
Through the Eco Club and Global Citizenship Club, I have developed a dual focus: environmental action grounded in real-world challenges, and cross-cultural dialogue that prepares students to think beyond their own experience. Both clubs shape how I approach every event I coordinate.
Ongoing
Leading the AICS Eco Club by setting direction, organising events, and building a school culture where environmental action is the norm rather than the exception.
Designing programmes that build global awareness, foster cross-cultural dialogue, and inspire students to engage as active and responsible citizens.
Representing the full South-East MYP4 year group on the AICS Student Council, bringing student perspectives into school-wide decisions. As part of the community team, I help plan events and fundraisers that strengthen the wider school community.
Acting as the direct link between MYP4H students and teachers, channelling feedback and working to improve the day-to-day classroom experience for my peers.
Elected as one of five Executive Board members for the 2026‑27 Student Council. Will help set the council's strategic direction, lead meetings, represent student voice at the highest level, and ensure the council delivers meaningful impact across the AICS community.
Leading the Operations team for the 2026‑27 Student Council. Responsible for managing finances, venue bookings, internal and external communications, the SC Instagram account, and the Student Dashboard – ensuring the council runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Planning & Delivery
Coordinated AICS Eco-Club's largest sustainability event, bringing together 100 attendees from 15 schools. Managed teams, logistics, and sponsor relationships with Vodafone, Eco-Schools, The European Pizza Company, and New York Pizza. Led end-to-end from concept to delivery.
Second year contributing to AICS Global Citizenship Day, helping plan and deliver school-wide experiences that celebrate diversity and promote global awareness. Also managing the event website and operations.
Leading the AICS Green Exchange, welcoming 45 dyslexic students from Denmark. Designing inclusive sustainability activities to ensure every participant has an enriching experience at AICS.
Contributed to AICS Global Citizenship Day, helping plan and deliver school-wide experiences that celebrate diversity and promote global awareness across the school community.
Led Earth Day workshops with our South‑East Group 6 students. Guided hands‑on seed‑bomb making while explaining native biodiversity and pollinator support. Turned a simple craft into a memorable lesson on how small, local actions can restore green spaces.
Student-Led
A programme I brought to AICS from the ground up. The Statieheld Machines initiative uses reverse vending machines to drive eco-conscious habits across the student body. I manage student participation, coordinate logistics, and continue to grow engagement with the programme.
Open to connecting with fellow students, educators, or anyone passionate about sustainability and student leadership.
